The LIT - Leibniz Institute for Immunotherapy (foundation under civil law) (https://lit.eu/) – is a biomedical research center focusing on translational immunology in the fields of cancer immunotherapy, transplant rejection and autoimmunity. The objective of the LIT is to develop innovative and efficient cellular immune therapeutics in these areas. Our own GMP laboratories and close networking with University and University Hospital offer excellent opportunities for clinical translation of novel immune cell products.
The Division of Functional Immune Cell Modulation, led by Professor Luca Gattinoni, is seeking a highly motivated and reliable Technical Assistant to join our dynamic team as a temporary substitution.
(full time, 40.1 hours per week)
The position is available immediately and is limited until 31 December 2026, with the possibility of extension depending on the availability of funds.
Our Division develops next-generation adoptive T cell therapies, with a focus on T memory stem cells, T cell differentiation, metabolic fitness, and the engineering of CAR- and TCR-redirected T cell products for clinical translation.
The successful candidate will provide hands-on technical support to the ongoing research projects of the Division and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the laboratory. Given the immediate start, we are particularly interested in candidates who can quickly become productive in a fast-paced research environment.
